![]() Suddenly, we had something really special on our hands, and we just couldn't put it down.Īll that being said, we have decided to briefly put all our efforts into Demo 401, make it the best experience we possibly can and release it on Steam as TITANIC: PROJECT 401. It will include some features not currently in the Demo version, and Kyle is working on some new crew spaces to make the demo the largest release of our Titanic thus far. Once we release PROJECT 401, all hands will be on deck for the Alpha. Though keep in mind that work will continue on both projects over the next few months and as always, the work being done on PROJECT 401 will benefit the Alpha in numerous ways. We wouldn't be doing this if we didn't think our fans and Patrons wanted it, and based on your feedback, there is no doubt that TITANIC: PROJECT 401 deserves a life of its own. We can't wait for you to see more!įROM MATT - Thanks to everyone who joined Kyle and me for the anniversary stream last month. Having so many of you with us during that time means so much. I've been trying to model again lately and dipping my toes into many places. Before Kyle can get into the Alpha blockout, some locations don't rely on the exterior hull that I can flesh out with more final details. These are rooms away from the hull and exterior and deep below - refrigerated cargo spaces, some galley areas, and linen rooms. Luckily, we have two new volunteer modelers on the team. One of them, Jason Chester, has finally given us excellent modeled and game-ready versions of particular cabin fittings after years of the blocky Matt-versions in demos. I'm super excited about slick-looking cabin hooks, which are (and I am not exaggerating) something in almost every room. So you'll see these all over the ship - gym, bridge, cabins, baths - all over. I've handed him a list of what to do next, and our researchers are helping him along the way. ![]() ![]() #Titanic honor and glory demo 3 youtube trailer update. If they don't work for you but you find a new solution that does work, please let me know, it may help me too. None of them worked for me but I hope one of them work for you at least. I couldn't find a definitive instruction of this solution, you gotta trial and error it. Set resolution to lower or higher, set the game to fullscreen or windowed or borderless windowed. try fooling around with the resolution settings. try uninstalling and reinstalling the game a few times (this was recommended to me by a discord user) if you are overclocking your computer, don't. if you have a dedicated graphics card, enter your graphics card settings where you can set preferences for each program separately and make sure the game uses the dedicated one. Made some research about it and it turns out this crashing after a minute issue is a thing that can happen in UE4 games I asked the devs about it on the official discord server but even they couldn't help. I made a post here about this a few weeks ago, I have the exact same problem on my new laptop (it crashes after exactly one minute, including the time you spend in the menu). If you're also having this problem, go over to Windows Defender Firewall, click on Advanced Settings, go to outbound rules and create new outbound rules for both THG_DEMO_3.exe and THG_DEMO_3-Win64-Shipping.exe, to disable their internet access. I'm only posting here because I heard about mega-demo today (thanks guys!) and would prefer not to have the same issue with that.Īnybody else have this problem, and how did you fix it?ĮDIT fixed. The demo, VR and pancake, ran fine on my old PC, which barely met the minimum specs. My PC is above the recommended specs, so that's not a problem. The ship to ship option loads the inside for a few seconds, but then that crashes too. I tried the pancake version, and it does the same thing crashes before the ship is loaded. No error message, nothing, just shutdown to desktop. I load it up, press start, listen to Robin talk about his wife, and right before the ship loads in. I use the Oculus desktop app and wired link, if that helps at all. ![]() So a few weeks ago I bought a new PC, and of course felt obligated to play demo 3 in VR. ![]()
